A Little Note.

While my parents have done some truly cringe worthy, embarrassing things to me, I have to say that I love both of them. It's only the people who we love the most who are capable of making us so happy, or hurting us so deeply.

But this isn't a sad post.

While my parents - namely my dad, do some crazy things, they also bring a lot of smiles.

I found a note my dad wrote for me to give to my Grade 10 Social Studies teacher. I'd been bitching about having to write my final exam, and dear old dad took matters into his own hands.

The note I bore to my teacher read as follows,

'Tamara has diplomatic immunity, and doesn't have to write her exam.'

My teacher laughed, and then told me to sit down and write my exam.

It didn't work, but here it is, almost 14 years later, and that note still brings a smile to my face.

Remember, it's the little things that matter. The little things can tear us down, or build us up. Little things can make the biggest impact on us.

Do something little for someone you love.
